Liver surgery is an expensive proposition and a significant number of needy patients cannot afford the cost of treatment in our country. We have identified two liver problems in which expert surgery can make a big difference in outcomes. NFLR proposes to identify children and adults, below poverty line who need these operations and cannot afford it and carry them out at a nominal cost or even for free if necessary.
